Issue Rationale for bid / RFP to be awarded as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.01 and School Board Policy 

a. Fire Extinguishers Inspection / Repair / Recharging / Installation and Kitchen Hood Systems Inspection / Repair County Wide Bid #12-MA-303 - Awarded vendor request release from the bid awarded in November 2011 as per attached letter.  The second lowest vendor has been contacted and they will honor their bid pricing until a new bid can be awarded. 

b. Warehouse Supply Bid #13-BA-115 – Remove and revise vendors awarded June 2013 due to Item bid was not as specified and the Principal Place of Business 2% Local Preference Price Increase per Section 287.084.(2), Fla. Statue.   Revised Bid Tab Sheet attached.

c. Agreement for Architect/Engineer Services.  Contract Period is August 21, 2013 through August 20, 2014.  This is the final renewal.

·         Revise Award: National Art & School Supplies for Items:  56, 114     

·         Revise Award: Pyramid School Products for Items:  22, 44, 47, 57, 63, 64, 81, 91, 96           

·         Revise Award: Smith Office & Computer Supply for Items:  106

c. Agreement for Architect/Engineer Services - To:

·         Bhide & Hall Architects, P.A.
